To have all your fine work in one place - to have it all categorised, and to have such easy access to it on this website - is a truly great gift and blessing for all poetry lovers. It's hard to believe just how prolific you've been over the last 40+ years. Thank you so much.
Now let me add that I'm almost awestruck by the manner in which you make someone as ancient as Catullus seem so alive and relevant and real to us now. If I were Catullus, I'd be pleased as punch to have you as my translator.
Thanks Martin, I'm glad you approve. Sometimes I feel like I'm channeling poets like Catullus and Sappho, who were so far ahead of their time and probably still ahead of ours. As for being prolific, I've only touched the tip of the iceberg, with most of my 2,000 published poems still to go!
That is a great Sappho poem, and I was happy to discover the Latin interpretation by Catullus. For a poem to be translated from Greek to Latin to English and still be enjoyable seems like a small miracle. Perhaps the Tenth Muse is watching over her disciples.

Love this. Keep ‘em coming!
Glad you liked it, will do.
Thanks to everyone who commented. Martin, if you see this, Substack now ranks #1 with Google for this page, a good sign.
These are awesome, Mike! I especially love your translation of Catullus’ Sappho translation. That particular poem is actually my favorite of hers.
