Perhaps, Mike, you do not care for metrical poetry, these days? 🤔

You're welcome to unfollow Well Met, if you wish. We understand that we're not everyone's cup of tea here ☺️☕️

.

I write metrical poetry, so I cannot be accused of not caring for it.

"Come Down" is about elitism in poetry, the idea that poetry is only for uber-readers like Harold Bloom.

It was just a question, not an accusation 🤔

Whose rule is set out in 'Over(t) Simplification', please?

PS: I haven't owned a TV for years, but my furniture is still here 😂

I almost never watch TV, although I do watch Survivor.

The simple rule is "Let poems be beautiful" without silly rules that put them in straitjackets.

It seemed like odd questions to me: Do I not care for metrical poetry and I'm welcome to unfollow Well Met.

I have no idea where that came from frankly.

I write metrical poetry and have always commented positively on Well Met.

Perhaps you were having a bad day?

Let's agree to disagree, Mike.

Let's just leave it there.

Disagree about what?

I'm an advanced reader and I have no idea what the problem is.

I have said nothing against metrical poetry and nothing against Well Met.

What is the "disagreement"?

Don't know, don't care, deteriorating, dying.
