I understand David's feeling.

Telling that the stock market seemed wildly enthusastic about the election outcome, if today's high spikes across the three indexes are any indication. The trio of them jumped quite high--like cheerleaders. They no doubt like his favoritism toward the biggest businesses, and think he'll be good for profits.

Trump will favor big business over the people who voted for him, no doubt.

Mammon-worship and self-worship are his mind's hallmarks. Richest and most powerful. People are just rung's on the ladder to his wish fulfillment, i.e., to the satisfaction of his deepest cravings. I was not surprised this morning to discover the outcome. His parrot-troops believe he'll sacrifice anything to keep them solvent. This would be truer if he had his eye on a 3rd term, but this being his final one, he might be willing to disregard ratings, which were all he cared about when he was barking away on his IB show and barking away during his first reign as emperor. I will not allow him to be in my face every day this time around. He is a stagehog par excellence. His demand for my attention will be denied, since my peace of mind comes first. I have been wondering how big the Hispanic population is now in the US. I've observed over the years a staunch devotion to machismo in Hispanic men. Not sure how much that element helped him regain the throne. If it figured in significantly, his anti-immigration posture might look a bit ironic. At any rate, he is clearly capitalism's icon, the icon of the "philosophic" system that has the country in a stranglehold. Greed must trump all. I suggest reading Plutarch on Usury sometime, which will explain how absolute heartlessness has never been in all of world history greater than it is today in Amerique.

I think it's pretty clear that Trump will attempt to become the first American dictator. We may be stuck with Trump as long as he lives, if the Supreme Court keeps backing his grab for ultimate power.

He is capitalism's icon, the icon of the divinely established system. The Supreme Court doesn't have a clue what accounts for his success; how could a confederacy of dunces ever understand how peace's enemy always gains the upper hand, or ever realize their worst enemy is their most cherished friend. They're dolts. What's under their noses is beyond their vision. Nature has reproduced itself in Tweety, in virtually a mirror likeness.

It seems the Supreme Court can't see the forest for the trees, where Trump's attempts to destroy American democracy are concerned. Or perhaps they care nothing about justice or democracy.

To put it bluntly--and repeat myself--they simply have no clue. They are mere specialists with zero knowledge beyond law school case studies.. Unoriginal to the core.

I have to admit, I couldn't quite finish them all. A case of Trump overdose. It was Bigly....

But these are good - very good... if hard to take on a bleak day.

Yes, this is very bad news for everyone, especially the valiant Ukrainians. Russia and China will be empowered. Trump and Jong-un will exchange more love letters. And so on...

Yes, a bitter pill to swallow. I'm glad you thought the ones you read were good, wish I didn't have to write them.

Me too, Michael. Me too....

I'm based in Australia, but we are all citizens of the planet, and yesterday's result is very bad for the planet, as I know you know.....

More power to you. Keep writing!

Best wishes

Dave :)
