Is there no end to all the poems you've written? Going through this new post, it's easy to understand why you keep everything. There are some truly fine poems in here: Autumn Conundrum, Styx, Ebb Tide, We Sat Down - but the one that really surprised me was Longing. I hadn't seen that one before, and I really, really liked it! I don't know why. Perhaps because it felt as old as the beginning of the world. Yes, there was something irresistible in the tone of it, like something longing to be born.
I'm glad you liked "Longing" and I have similar unpublished poems in "Nashville and Andromeda" and "The Evolution of Love." I should probably put together a small collection of such poems and publish them here.

Yes, I liked it very much. And putting together a small collection of similar poems sounds like a good plan to me. I look forward to reading it.
Thanks for the idea!
'The worst of' or it's offshoots will probably turn out to be something quite special.
I like to think so, at least.
